OPENING NIGHT! On Saturday, September 9, 2006 the Moose made history with their inaugural game at the Thornhill Community Centre vs. the King Wild. The Wild went on to take the opener 5 - 1.  CEREMONIAL FACE-OFF! (For the ceremonial opening face-off between Moose captain Kyle Manduck and King Wild captain Luke Fortin, we decided to see just how good their faceoff skills were by having 6 pucks dropped at once.  lol) The first face-off: between Moose captain Kyle Manduck and Wild captain Luke Fortin are (l-r) GMHL President Bob Russell, GMHL Commissioner Ken Girard (hidden), GMHL League Manager Todd Miller, Thornhill MPP Mario Racco, yours truly, former Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and Canadian Olympian Discus Thrower Dr. Borys Chambul, and Canadian National Paralympic Sledge Hockey goaltender and MVP of the recent Olympic Final in Turin, Italy, Paul Rosen)     DIGNITARIES   Thornhill MPP Mario Racco, former Canadian Olympic Discus Thrower and Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Dr. Borys Chambul (our own director of Sports Therapy), and current Team Canada Sledge Hockey Goaltender,  Paralympic Gold Medalist and Final MVP in Turin, Paul Rosen.   PLAYER INTRODUCTIONS!
